Thoughts on the campaign

We want the use of postpartum care after childbirth to become commonplace, and our goal is to have it take root in our culture. I don't think we will be able to achieve this goal just by continuing to operate posnatal care hotels.

In order to achieve this, I feel that we will not be able to achieve a normal culture unless there is an environment in which information is not only available to those involved before and after childbirth, but also recommendations from those around them, and a system to support this.

I want postnatal care to become more accessible. Just as you dream about weddings and overseas trips from a young age, I strongly hope that your postpartum memories will be happy and warm, and you'll think, "This is how I want to spend my postpartum time.''

Mom Garden HAYAMA

We will provide 100 companies with 100 free nights at a posnatal care hotel as a welfare benefit!

Welfare programs are implemented by each company in consideration of the desire for good human resources to work for a long time and the happiness of the employees' families. Support for the immediate postpartum period is lacking when it comes to support around childbirth. Working mothers and their families tend to focus on "healthcare*1" from the time they give birth, but in today's world where postpartum depression is not uncommon, it is important to first recover the body immediately after giving birth before starting childbirth. It is necessary to acquire childcare knowledge first.

In April 2022, the revised Childcare Leave Act will be implemented in stages, encouraging husbands to take postpartum leave and childcare leave, and support during childcare leave is attracting attention around the world.

In order to promote a culture of postnatal care, this campaign will provide 100 companies that promote female participation in the workforce and male participation in childcare with 100 nights of free accommodation each. By participating in this campaign, employees who have given birth and their families will be able to recover mentally and physically, and return to work from childcare leave with peace of mind.

We welcome applications from companies that want to promote the active participation of women, companies that want to provide support for families, companies that are facing issues with the declining birthrate and aging population, etc.

In Japan, one in seven women suffers from postpartum depression due to weak support immediately after giving birth. The incidence of postpartum depression in men is also increasing.

"Childbirth is life-threatening.'' "Childbirth is difficult.'' We all feel this for granted, but the reality is that the use of postnatal care is not yet mainstream in Japan.

The environment surrounding postpartum in Japan has many barriers to raising children, such as the increase in dual-income households, the shift to nuclear families, older childbirth, and the coronavirus pandemic, and due to these circumstances, the incidence of postpartum depression is increasing year by year. It is said that the number of infected people is increasing after the coronavirus pandemic.

Mom Garden's goal is to make the option of using posnatal care the norm in Japan, rather than having to choose between ''receiving support from parents'' and "doing your best on your own.''

─ A place where you can slowly become a “mom” ─
Mother's recovery and baby's peace of mind at Mom Garden

The postpartum period, immediately after a baby is born, is a time when the baby's body and the mother's mind are slowly growing. However, if the postpartum pain has not healed and you are worried about childcare, you will not have the strength to protect your little life. Only when mothers themselves regain a healthy body and mind can they begin to raise their children in a positive and loving manner. At Mom Garden, we fully support mothers and babies after giving birth.

“A place where you can slowly become a mom”
Making this way of spending your time after giving birth “natural”. That is the wish and mission of Mom Garden.
