Terms of Use

■ Purpose

Article 1

  • The purpose of these terms and conditions is to stipulate that our facility will provide care and other services to mothers who are less than three months postpartum and who, in principle, hold a maternal and child health handbook (hereinafter referred to as "users") and their infants, and that users will pay fees for said services to our facility.

■ Scope of application

Article 2

  1. Any usage agreement that this facility enters into with a user shall be subject to these terms and conditions, and any matters not provided for in these terms and conditions shall be governed by law or generally established practice.
  2. In the event that this facility enters into a special agreement to the extent that it does not violate laws, regulations, or customs, the special agreement shall take precedence over the provisions of the preceding paragraph.

■ Compliance with usage rules, etc.

Article 3

Users must abide by the facility rules and other usage regulations established by the facility while within the facility.

■ Confirmation of reservation

Article 4

  1. A reservation to use this facility will be confirmed when this facility accepts the application from the person wishing to use this facility, confirms the payment of the first fee under Article 5, Paragraph 1, receives notification of the birth by 11:59 p.m. on the day after the birth, and both parties reach an agreement.
  2. In the case of users who have already given birth at the time of application, they shall apply after confirming and accepting the explanation in the pamphlet. The application shall then be deemed to have been accepted by the facility, the facility shall confirm the first payment of the fee under Article 5, Paragraph 1, and both parties shall agree to the application.

■Payment of fees

Article 5

  1. The usage fee to be paid by the user shall be the fee set forth in the attached document. Applicants shall pay the usage fee to the facility as follows:
    1st payment: After the facility accepts your application, you will pay the estimated usage fee by bank transfer. All bank transfer fees will be borne by the user.
    2nd payment: Any charges incurred within the facility other than the scheduled usage fee, such as fees for extended stays and family stays, must be paid at check-out by cash, electronic payment (credit card or electronic money designated by the facility (Apple Pay, public transport electronic money, ID, CUICPay, UnionPay, Alipay, WeChatPay, coin+, d-payment, au pay, Jcoin)), or bank transfer on the due date designated by the facility.

  2. If you apply for an extension of your stay after your reservation has been confirmed, the discount based on the number of nights you stay will only be applied to the rate for the additional stay.

■ Rejection of conclusion of usage contract

Article 6

  1. This facility will not enter into a usage agreement in the following cases:
    (1) If the person or infant planning to use the facility has a fever, cold-like symptoms, or other symptoms suspected to be an infectious disease, or if these symptoms have occurred within two weeks prior to check-in.
    (2) If a person or infant planning to use the facility has traveled abroad within two weeks prior to check-in, or has had contact with someone who has traveled abroad within two weeks prior to check-in.
    (3) If the person planning to use the facility is a member of an organized crime group or an organization related to an organized crime group or other anti-social forces.
  2. This facility may not enter into a usage agreement in the following cases:
    (1) If the application for use does not comply with these terms and conditions.
    (2) When the facility is fully booked.
    (3) If it is deemed that the prospective user is in danger of engaging in acts that violate the provisions of law, public order, or good morals in relation to use of the facility.
    (4) If it is deemed that the prospective user is likely to behave in a manner that will cause significant inconvenience to other users.
    (5) If a prospective user makes an unreasonable demand of the facility or its staff, or asks for an unreasonable burden in relation to use of the facility.
    (6) When it is impossible to use the facility due to a natural disaster, malfunction of the facility, or other unavoidable reasons.
    (7) If the facility determines that a prospective user does not comply with these terms and conditions, the facility's usage regulations, rules, and instructions, and that it is inappropriate for the user to continue using the facility.
  3. If the person planning to use the facility has a medical condition or illness, the facility will only allow use with the permission of a doctor.

■ User's right to cancel the contract

Article 7

  1. Users may cancel or change their contract by notifying the facility, but will be required to pay a cancellation fee of part or all of the reservation deposit and accommodation fee as described below, except in cases of stillbirth (including cases where an infant dies after birth before check-in).

    In the case of a full cancellation, the fee will be the room rate for one night of your planned stay (before any discounts). In the case of a shortened stay, the fee will be 10% of the room rate for the shortened stay (before any discounts).
    Check-in day or cancellation without notice
    In case of complete cancellation, 100% of the planned usage fee (before any discounts) will be charged.
    After check-in, during your stay
    If the number of nights of your stay is shortened, 10% of the room rate for the shortened number of nights (before any discounts) will be charged.
  2. If a cancellation is requested after the first payment as specified in Article 5, paragraph 1, the amount of the planned usage fee received by the Facility at that time minus the cancellation fee as specified in the previous paragraph will be refunded by bank transfer to the bank account specified by the User. The refund will be made within 14 days from the day after the Facility accepts the cancellation. The transfer fee will be borne by the Facility.
  3. If there is no contact from the user and two hours have passed since the scheduled arrival time, the facility may consider that the usage agreement has been terminated at the user's discretion.

■ Right to cancel contract with this facility

Article 8

  1. The facility may cancel the usage agreement in the following cases.
    (1) When it is deemed that the user is in danger of engaging in acts that violate legal provisions, public order, or good morals in relation to use of the service, or when such acts are recognized.
    (2) When a user is deemed to be in danger of behaving in a manner that significantly disturbs other users, or when such behavior is recognized.
    (3) When it is impossible to use the facility due to a natural disaster, facility malfunction, or other unavoidable reasons.
    (4) If the user makes unreasonable demands against the facility or the facility staff, or asks for an unreasonable burden.
    (5) If the facility determines that the user does not comply with these terms and conditions, the facility's usage regulations, rules, instructions, etc., and that it is inappropriate for the user to continue using the facility.
    (6) Drinking alcohol or smoking within the Facility.
    (7) If a user is found to be distributing or posting advertising material, or soliciting the sale of goods within the facility.
    (8) If the user refuses to undergo daily health checks.
    (9) Any other case in which the user fails to follow the instructions of the facility staff or engages in any prohibited conduct as specified by the facility.
  2. This facility will cancel the usage agreement in the following cases.
    (1) If, after entering into the Service Agreement, the user or the infant experiences fever, cold symptoms, or other symptoms that may be an infectious disease.
    (2) If, after the conclusion of the service agreement, it is discovered that the user is a member of an organized crime group, an organization related to an organized crime group, or another anti-social force.
    (3) If a Guest enters a room other than the one they are using (including vacant rooms) without permission from the Facility.
  3. If this facility cancels the usage agreement pursuant to the provisions of paragraph 1 or 2, and the user promptly moves out, the facility will not charge any usage fees from the day after the cancellation date or any fees for any services that the user has not yet received.
  4. If the Facility cancels the use agreement based on the provisions of paragraphs 1 or 2, the User shall promptly leave the Facility, but if the User does not promptly leave the Facility despite such cancellation by the Facility, or if the User behaves in a manner that is deemed to be an impediment to the Facility's management, the Facility may charge the User for the use fee from the day after the cancellation date onwards. Furthermore, if the Facility determines that it is difficult for the Facility to handle the situation, the Facility will contact the police or an appropriate administrative agency.

■ Registration when using

Article 9

  1. You will need to present your maternal and child health handbook (or a copy of your handbook) when you start using the service.
  2. This facility will explain to users the precautions to take when using this facility.

■ Usage hours of this facility

Article 10

  1. Check-in time on the first day of use is between 13:00 and 16:00, and check-out time on the last day of use is 10:00.
  2. The hours during which users can use the facilities within this facility will be determined by this facility.
  3. For safety reasons, inspections and repairs may be carried out at our facilities, including guest rooms, and some facilities and guest rooms may be unavailable.

■ About compensation for damages

Article 11

  1. The facility takes no responsibility for any accidents or injuries that occur within the facility.
  2. The facility will not bear any responsibility for damage or theft of users' belongings.
  3. If damage or other losses occur to the fixtures, fittings, interior, etc. of this Facility due to reasons other than force majeure, the User must promptly repair or replace such damages, or bear the costs of repairs and damages.
  4. If the room card key is lost or damaged, the guest will be required to pay 2,000 yen (excluding tax).

■ About meals

Article 12

  1. Meals are to be eaten in the designated places during meal times set by this facility. Meals may be refused after these times due to food hygiene management.
  2. We will not provide replacement meals or refunds for any unused meals.
  3. Regarding food elimination, we will only be happy to consult with you about the removal of eggs, milk, wheat, buckwheat, peanuts, and shellfish (shrimp and crab) due to allergies. If you wish to remove any foods, you will need to inform us when contacting us after the birth.
  4. Please note that we cannot accommodate requests for removal or changes to menu based on personal preference.
  5. Food and drink brought into the facility will be managed at the discretion of the individual. However, the facility may not allow you to bring in any food or drink.

■ About taking medication

Article 13

  1. If you need to take medication while using our facility, you must manage your own medication times and take your medication as prescribed.
  2. We do not store or manage any medicines at our facility.
  3. The facility does not provide medicines.

■ Going out

Article 14

  1. The facility will not bear any responsibility for any accidents or injuries that occur while users are out.
  2. If anyone other than infants goes out, or if all users go out, only those who have applied to go out will be allowed to go out. If you are going out, please fill out the necessary information on the application form and make the request.
  3. At the discretion of the facility, you may not be allowed to go outside.
  4. Please be sure to inform our staff when you return from outside.

■ About visitation

Article 15

  1. Visitation is from 9am to 6pm.
  2. Visitors must be relatives within the third degree of kinship of the facility user (pregnant woman), and must review and agree to each item in the visiting consent form established by our facility before signing it.
  3. Anyone who falls under Article 7, Paragraph 1, or who has been drinking alcohol, will be prohibited from entering the Facility.
  4. Due to the outbreak of infectious diseases, restrictions on visiting may be imposed.

■About Family Stay

Article 16

  1. For family stays, please reserve the dates and number of people when you make the reservation. If you are undecided due to circumstances, please contact us at least two days before your stay.
    Cancellation fees are 100% on the day, 50% the day before, and free up to 2 days before.
  2. If mother and child check in separately, please enter between 9am and 6pm.
  3. This facility will explain to users important points to note when using the facility.
  4. Users of this facility are required to fill out the following required information on the designated facility user registration and consent form.
    (1) User’s name, date of birth, address, and telephone number
    (2) Emergency contact information
    (3) Any other information that the facility determines should be included in the user registration form (e.g. allergies)
  5. You will not be able to use the bedrock bath or herbal tent services. You will also not be able to enter the nursing room or baby room. You may use the beauty salon depending on availability.
  6. If any guest behaves in a manner that is deemed to be disruptive to management within the facility, the facility reserves the right to ask the guest to leave. If the facility determines that it is unable to deal with the situation, the facility will contact the police or an appropriate administrative agency.
  7. Siblings of infants will not be kept in the baby room, and staff are not available to provide childcare.
  8. Please dine in the designated area of ​​the restaurant during your stay. If you would like to dine in your room, please use the optional in-room dining option.
  9. If a child under the age of 6 is using the facility, they will be required to confirm and agree to the contents of the designated form set out by the facility and have it signed by a parent or guardian.
  10. Due to the outbreak of infectious diseases, restrictions on visiting may be imposed.

■ Change of room

Article 17

  1. Due to facility reasons, we may ask you to use a room different from the one at the time of signing this contract.
  2. You may be asked to move to a different room during your stay.
  3. If you choose a different room from the one used at the time of signing this contract, we will refund the difference.

■ Handling of brought-in and left-behind items

Article 18

  1. Please refrain from bringing the following items into our facility:
    (1) Dogs, cats, cockroaches and other pets, and insects
    (2) Items that emit a foul or unpleasant odor
    (3) Dangerous items such as explosives or volatile oils that are easily ignited or flammable
    (4) Large amounts of cash and precious metals
    (5) Alcoholic beverages
    (6) Other items the possession of which is prohibited by law
  2. We will not accept any personal belongings from guests. Please use the security box in your room for valuables. Guests are responsible for managing other items in their own rooms.
  3. Any items left behind in the guest room will be stored for one month, including the day they were found. However, for raw items such as unopened food, the storage period will be one day (24 hours).

■ Facilities and equipment

Article 19

  1. Users must comply with the following requirements:
    (1) Do not use guest room facilities or items for purposes other than those intended or remove them from the room.
    (2) Do not install any foreign objects within the Facility or modify it in any way that would change its current state.
    (3) Please do not move any items from their designated locations within the Facility to other locations.
    (4) Please do not place any objects in the windows that may mar the appearance of the Facility.
    (5) Please return loaned items in accordance with the regulations for each item.

■ Handling of personal information

Article 20

  1. Our facility and its staff will not disclose personal information about users and their families that they learn in the course of their work to third parties without a valid reason. However, we may provide information in the following cases with the user's consent.
    (1) Health and welfare institutions in the user's local area
    (2) Medical institutions
    (3) Government agencies
  2. The matters listed in the preceding paragraph shall apply in the same manner even after the termination of the Service Agreement.
  3. If the facility deems it necessary, it may contact the emergency contact person.

■ Disaster Prevention

Article 21

  1. The use of firearms is not permitted within the facility, and smoking is prohibited anywhere within the facility.
  2. Please do not touch firefighting equipment except in emergency situations.
  3. We regularly conduct crime prevention drills, disaster prevention drills, fire inspections, sterilization and disinfection of the facility, and annual inspections of the entire building.

■ Emergency response

Article 22

  1. In the event of an emergency, we may refer you to a medical institution or other specialist institution or request an ambulance.
  2. Evacuation route maps are posted behind the entrance doors of each guest room. In the event of an emergency, please follow the instructions of facility staff.

■ Personal information protection

Article 23

  1. Our facility has established the following "Personal Information Protection Policy" and strives to protect personal information appropriately.
    (1) We will appropriately generate, collect, use and provide personal information.
    (2) We will prevent unauthorized access to personal information, and the loss, destruction, falsification, and leakage of personal information.
    (3) We will comply with laws, regulations and other standards regarding personal information.
    (4) We will establish regulations regarding personal information protection and make continuous improvements to them.
  2. Regarding the purpose of use of your personal information The personal information you provide will be used for the following purposes.
    (1) To verify your identity, notify you of the suspension, interruption, or termination of your contract for services you use, and for other matters related to the provision of our services.
    (2) To make sales recommendations and conduct surveys regarding our services, as well as send prizes, etc., via various media such as telephone, email, LINE, and mail.
    (3) To improve and develop new services for the services of our facilities and affiliated hotels, as well as for business partners and business associates.
    (4) Provision of non-life insurance and other related services.
  3. If disclosure is requested by a public institution such as a court or police agency based on laws and regulations, personal information may be provided to the public institution.
  4. This facility may revise the above policies.

■Revision

Article 24

  • These terms and conditions and attached documents may be revised without notice. In such cases, the revised terms and conditions will apply.
